Tonir BBQ: Authentic Middle Eastern Flavors in Sun Valley, CA

Sooo good had lahjoon (pretty sure spelled wrong) and pork Schwartz plate. Everything was delicious! Wish I lived here so I could come back again! Didn’t know I’d be leaving a rating when I sent a pic to my wife but can’t take one now excuse the bad photo skill!

The food was really tasty and fresh. The place felt clean and cozy, and the staff were kind and friendly. We had a great time and would definitely come back.

This place deserves their high ratings. The food is authentic, delicious and craveable. The lahmajoon is a must try. I first had it in Athens at a place called Feyrouz (totally recommend if you are in Athens) and again in Dubai. Each region makes it just a little bit different but the end result is thin bread and delicious mincemeat. So flavorful and satisfying. it’s huge-enough for two people. I had the chicken plate, and everything on it tasted fresh and so good. I loved the hummus and meat. I fly out to visit my daughter often and found this place on my way back to Burbank airport. Now I plan more visits to see my daughter and eat here! See you soon!

I ordered through GrubHub, The Beef Lula plate was one of the best Beef Lula I have ever had. The rice was on point so delicious, the hummus amazing, the salad fresh and savory. In fact it was so good that leaving this review wasn't enough. I had to call the business and tell them my self. So glad there is a restaurant like this in my neighborhood. Thank you Tonir BBQ!

We ordered a Beef BBQ plate and it was perfectly cooked and you can feel that the ingredients are fresh. The food is delicious. They have reserved parking spaces. Customer service is great. I highly recommended this restaurant.

We had such a lovely time at this restaurant. The food was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The service was friendly without being too much, and the whole place had a warm and welcoming vibe. Everything felt relaxed but thoughtful — from the way the dishes were served to the quiet background music. It’s the kind of place you’d be happy to return to

Amazing food. Super clean place. The meat was high quality and the rice was literally oil less. Super healthy and the tomatoes tasted almost like European quality. Didn’t take any photos because we devoured the beef kebab platter, pork shawarma platter and chicken wrap. Bonus - go across the parking lot for cake and bake slice of hazelnut crunchy cake / dessert. Also, the owners of Tonir were so kind - they even let our 4 yo go to their own non public bathroom. I’m a picky picky foodie and super approve this place.
